Bindu is a successful business entrepreneur and the Principal Image Consultant of Bindu Mukherjee Image Consultancy. She is the President – IMPA (Image Management Professionals Association) for its Gurgaon chapter, a non- profit organization dedicated to educating, facilitating, integrating, and regulating Image management for the underprivileged. A certified Image Consultant from the Image Consulting Business Institute she has assisted in the successful training of hundreds of professional Image consultants across the country. She was recently interviewed by the Wall street journal about the role of spin doctors just prior to the Indian elections, truly a great recognition of her work and expertise in the field of Image management. Bindu Mukherjee has featured on Television for the show “Image Banani Hai” and has received extensive coverage through leading national dailies.
Bindu graduated from the Institute of Hotel Management and was placed from campus into the Welcomgroup Management Training program (I.H.A France affiliation). On successful completion, Bindu was placed as Deputy House Keeper at WG Chola Sheraton, Chennai. In 1992, Bindu was part of the first batch of International Cabin crew based out of Chennai for British Airways Plc. She is a proud recipient of the Cabin Crew award for her outstanding customer in-flight services. Her tenure of over 14 years with British Airways has taken her to different continents, providing her with a perspective into different cultures and fashion sensibilities across the globe. Image Consulting she believes is a natural progression for her from her previous roles in the Hospitality and Aviation industry.
Bindu is a certified Cosmetologist with a Post Graduate Degree in Skin, Hair and Advanced Makeup. A wellness expert and certified SPA specialist (Western & Eastern), she also has a degree in alternative medicine (B.A.S.M). The latest feather in her cap is Train the Trainer certification– the First batch, from NABET (Govt. of India).
Bindu has provided training to employees of several corporations and high profile Individuals on managing their Image and to create a powerful first impression. By combining her wealth of experience and expertise of Image Management, Cosmetology, Wellness and backed by her excellent interpersonal and communication skill, she continues to pursue her passion for “making a difference” to her clients and herself in the process. Bindu Mukherjee believes that she “makes a difference”, for a living. As an Image Consultant, she helps people help themselves.
