Delhi NCR-based Image Consultant and Soft Skills Trainer Dr. Shikha Singh was recently invited as a trainer to take behavioural training sessions on Building Employability Skills for the engineering students of IILM University. The program was organized for 3 days from 22nd May to 24th May 2023.

She emphasized the following topics for 3 days and 12 hours of training:

1. IMPROVE YOUR COMMUNICATION SKILLS – Day 1
2. BEING INTERVIEW READY – BE CONSISTENT AND CONFIDENT – Day 2
3. MAKE A POSITIVE IMPRESSION IN YOUR INTERVIEW – Day 3

One day 1 She sensitized the students about the various communication strategies needed for consistent performance while facing interviews. By controlling and managing the various aspects of communication skills, appearance,e and domain skills and further fine-tuning your interactions, you can easily improve your presentation and job appeal.

On Day 2, she focussed on body language, do’s, and don’ts. She stressed the students to examine the right body language to talk right and impress the recruiters. Various activities and facilitation tools were used by her to make the session interactive for the audience.

On Day 3, she made the audience aware of the right interview skills needed to make a positive first impression. She emphasized that being interviewed does not mean that you have to be well-versed online in your domain skills. She focussed on – appearance behavior, communication, and domain skills that help the candidate to stay ahead of others and has a higher probability of being placed in a good company. Various activities and facilitation tools were used by her to make the session interactive for the audience.

It was attended by 108 participants.
