Ever since I can recall my childhood, I remember being fascinated with the story of Cinderella. The memory of how Fairy Godmother transformed Cinderella and made her look so beautiful, helping her dreams turn into reality, has never left my mind. Even as a young girl, I aspired to be like the Fairy Godmother.
The creative bug in me took me towards fashion designing, for which I acquired the hands-on skills and technical knowledge from Pearl Academy, New Delhi. Alongside, I pursued my degree in B.Com (Hons) from SRCC, New Delhi, which has been assisting my entrepreneurial endeavors.
I had been in the Fashion & Garment industry for over a decade before pursuing a career in Image Consulting. Impelled by the strengths of Image consulting and my God-gifted flair for it, I trained to be an Image Consultant from Image Consulting Business Institute (ICBI), Mumbai. Through the launch of Perfect 10 Image Consultancy, I am living my dream of being a Fairy Godmother.
I believe that your self-esteem is your gateway to success, in your professional and personal life. Your self-image, which was probably formed in your younger days, is very important in this respect. We need to first and foremost learn to love and appreciate who we see in the mirror, and only then can we expect others to appreciate it. Here the second aspect of self-esteem comes in – what others think of us. No matter what we do, we always care about “what she thought about me.” And why not? That very she can be my interviewer, boss, client or even my date.
People with high self-esteem are able to value themselves as unique entities, aside and apart from their role or ambition. They base their value on their own internal standards. Internal “happiness” with one’s self, plays a crucial role in job performance and overall satisfaction in life. This is where as an Image Consultant comes in. My aim is to get you to love yourself: your body, your dressing, the way you watch yourself walk and talk.
